Seventeen "new" Bruce Highway projects are set to begin in the next four years - including a Gympie bypass - with a total of 45 over the next 10 years. I think the Gympie bypass annoys me most of all. Instead of doing the bypass 20 years ago or even 30 years ago when the Maryborough bypass was done, they proceeded to spend millions of dollars upgrading the highway through Gympie, only to finally do the bypass.
